Sessions and Fees

Our preschool services are charged at a rate of £6 per hour which breaks down as follows:

session times and fees.pngChildren booked in for both morning and afternoon sessions on the same day will not be charged for lunchtime.

We will provide snacks during the morning. If your child would like a lunch provided by school you will be able to order and pay for them via the school app.

We request that children attend a minimum of two core sessions (highlighted grey) per week.

Help with Childcare Costs

Universal 15 Hours Funding: The government funds 15 hours of early education per week for 38 weeks of the year (term-time) for all 3 and 4 year olds. This entitlement begins the term following your child’s third birthday.

30 Hours Extended Funding for Working Parents: Eligible working parents of 3 and 4-year-olds can access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week (15 universal hours plus an extra 15 hours). This funding can be split across eligible providers, including wrap-around options such as Breakfast and After School Clubs.

How to Apply: Parents apply for the working parent entitlement online via the Childcare Choices website (GOV.UK). Once approved, you will receive an 11-digit eligibility code to present to the pre-school.

Additional Financial Support

Tax-Free Childcare: For every £8 you pay into an online childcare account, the government tops it up by £2, up to a maximum of £2,000 per child per year (or £4,000 for disabled children). This can be used alongside your funded hours to pay for extra sessions, wrap-around care, or lunch clubs.

Universal Credit for Childcare: Working families claiming Universal Credit may be able to claim back up to 85% of their eligible childcare costs.
