Fresh drinking water is available, and children are encouraged to stay well-hydrated, particularly in warm weather. Children should bring a named water bottle each day. Milk is also offered during snack time and lunchtime for EYFS and KS1.
To support children's health and dental care, we limit sugar intake by providing fresh fruit and vegetables for daily snacks for EYFS and KS1. Sweets and chocolate are not permitted as snacks at school (though small treats like biscuits may be included as part of a balanced packed lunch).
Dietary Needs & Special Events
Please inform us of any allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements your child has so we can cater to them safely. On special occasions, we may sample traditional foods to celebrate cultural events, parents will always be notified in advance.
Lunchtimes
Lunch is from 12 - 1pm and children eat together in the hall.
Freshly prepared hot school lunches are available directly from the school kitchen (currently £3.10 per day) and we encourage parents to go through the menu with their child and pre order via school spider.
Alternatively children can bring a healthy packed lunch from home, which is eaten alongside their peers.
